Project Background: The client is one of the biggest express delivery company need to provide their client with on-time, on-demand information regarding their parcel. They have over 350 drop points across Malaysia, across geographically diverse locations. Local geographical challenges in Malaysia does become a big headache for them, due to the coverage challenges with the local telecommunications providers. In the past, the client only sent messages to premium packages due to the high price per message. The low margin in the shipping industry has made this value-added service unviable for all courier package. The fierce competition within Malaysia was also pushing our client to improve their customer services.
CMI Solution: Based on client's need. CMI proposed our mCloud SMS solution with IPSEC as a total solution for them. A minimum of 2,000,000 SMS messages package per month to CMI mCloud SMS platform was offered and a Proof of Value (PoV) was conducted by CMI to highlight possible business value and to ensure technical capability and competency.
